Motion to adopt the agenda by Wayne seconded by Cameron. Motion passed

Hudson Himmerich a junior at CHS, addressed the Mayor and Council with a proposal of the activities on Homecoming 2024. He requested permission to have a parade at 10:45 on Sept. 27th, a bonfire on Sept 26th , and to light the C on Sept. 27th. Motion to accept this proposal by Wayne seconded by Cameron. Motion passed

Recognitions
Wayne recognized Chief Whitehead and Officer Stocking doing a great job. Their court report showed they had been busy.Wayne also recognized Mayor Peck for always helping on projects if he is not at his regular work.
Mayor Peck read a thank you from the CSSC to the Town.
Mayor Peck recognized the Public works for their work.They were trying to tie in the new well, Bentley was still working as council is going on. Mike will go back to the project as soon as council is over

Department Reports
The roll up door has been purchased but has not been delivered. There is a hole in the street on Post St. Wayne would like the hole patched as soon as possible.
Motion to approve the 2nd Reading of ORD 24-13 Offenses Involving Minors by Theresa seconded by Wayne. Motion passed
Motion to approve the 2nd Reading of ORD 24-14 Police Court Procedure by Wayne seconded by Theresa. Motion passed
Chief Whitehead mentioned there are 4 doorknobs that are hard to unlock in the town hall. Colby will call to get prices to replace the door knobs or rekey the doors in the Town Hall.
Legion Ground was discussed and the easement to the Legion Grounds.Mayor asked council to think about the problem, do some research and see if a solution can be made.
New PD Vehicles are about ready.Chief has a training the first week of October.
Demont mention that a meeting with DEQ will be Sept 19 at 2:00p.m.
Demont will talk to Destry about doing a GPS mapping of the Town.
Some money is approved with impact fees for the vac jetter trailer. It was suggested to purchase on the lease program. Colby will check into options and costs.
Mike reported that a guy from California came to assess the UV Unit today.Mike will get costs to work on the UV.
Halloween movie coming up no date has been set.
Theresa mentioned to have a community appreciation day. Mayor and Council will cook something and invite the community to eat to express appreciation. Mayor suggested to have a plan with costs. Theresa will come up with a plan and get costs. Mayor suggested a survey or something to see who would be interested in attending.
Council discussed having Santa come in December.

Mayor discussed the purchase for the Xerox copier. Motion to purchase the xerox copier by Wayne seconded by Theresa.
